The war in Ukraine has been going on for several weeks and we’re not anywhere near its end.
Every day, we see people fighting for their country as well as civilians being killed who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. You’ve probably seen images of destroyed apartments in Kyiv, Kharkiv, or Mariupol.
Several million Ukrainians have decided to flee their homes and look for safety in nearby countries. Often, it’s mothers with their children waiting for many hours in queues at the border, without knowing what they’ll do after they cross it.
Humanitarian organizations help these people. Some work directly in the war zone, others on the borders, and in the countries where the refugees find their new home.
There are many ways to help Ukrainians. However, people working for humanitarian organizations are specialists in their field and know best how to make sure the help is effective.
That’s why we consider supporting these organizations the best way to help people affected by war:
