What e-commerce platforms do you support?

You can integrate Luigi’s Box with any e-commerce platform. For a smoother setup, we offer ready-made extensions for Shopify, Shoptet, Magento, and Shopware. If you’re using PrestaShop, WooCommerce, or IdoSell, you can connect via our well-documented API.

I have a custom-built website. Can I use the self-service option?

Yes, Luigi’s Box works with any e-shop, including custom-built ones. You can use the self-service option, but we also recommend reaching out to [email protected] to make sure you get the best setup for your specific needs.

Do I need to create a custom feed to use Luigi's Box?

Yes and no. If you’re using supported platforms like Magento, PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Shoptet, or Shopify, you can connect directly—no need to create a custom feed.

If you’re not using one of these, it’s best to prepare a product and category feed based on our documentation. You can also use feeds made for services like Heureka or Google Merchant, or feeds generated by partners like Mergado. Just make sure to enrich the feed with all the details we recommend to get the most from Luigi’s Box.

Who is self-service integration best for?

It’s ideal for small and midsize businesses (SMBs) that want a plug-and-play solution with minimal setup and maintenance—no in-house dev team required.

What can I set up with the self-service integration?

You can launch Search with Autocomplete in just a few steps. Once you’re up and running, you can also create Recommender widgets directly in the Luigi’s Box app. (Note: Recommenders aren’t part of the self-service wizard, but they’re still easy to set up.)

Can I customize the layout with self-service?

Yes, to some extent. You can tweak the look of our default autocomplete during setup. We’ve designed it to work beautifully out of the box, but if you’re an experienced developer, you’ll also find advanced layout settings in the app.

What if I want Product Listing or the Shopping Assistant?
