Let’s do a hackaton

Muziker, a leading European multi-segment e-shop specializing in selling products for all leisure activities, has been our long-standing client and partner. Together, we developed and deployed an innovative product recommendation system for their e-shop, based on artificial intelligence algorithms. The goal was to create personalized recommendations not only for products but also for relevant product categories tailored to each customer.

During a “hackathon” organized by the client, we prepared a solution that allows us to generate category recommendations on the homepage, segment, and campaign pages, tailored to each customer. Thanks to close cooperation with the Muziker team, we were able to adapt these algorithms to the needs of their e-shop perfectly.

The first deployment involved the Basket popup and Item detail Luigi’s Box Recommenders.

Let the data speak

The results after going live speak for themselves. Whether it’s Luigi’s Box recommendations in the shopping cart or product details, personalized recommendations brought a significant increase in key metrics:

The table shows a significant increase in all the monitored indicators compared to the original state. Moreover, through A/B testing, we confirmed the strength of the new recommendations compared to the original versions.

These results demonstrate that personalized and targeted product recommendations have immense potential to increase the conversion rate, and, thus, the profitability of your e-shop.
