“Rewrite Query” is a powerful feature that we’ve developed at Luigi’s Box. It empowers e-shops with the ability to modify and customize search queries to deliver even better search results, particularly in certain situations.

- When the results are insufficient, or there are an overwhelming number of results.

Initiating and editing a new query
The path to using the Rewrite Query function from the side menu starts by clicking the “Customize new query” button. Here, you input the initial query whose results you want to refine. Additionally, you can decide whether you want to publish information about this change on the frontend, as well as the text version of this information.
Once you enter a query, we provide you with a quantity and a preview of the search results. This immediate feedback is designed to empower you, allowing you to gauge the effectiveness of your current query quickly. With the rewrite query, you can either keep or rewrite your current query to another (destination query) and display its search results. We encourage you not to hesitate to experiment and test different versions, as you always have the option to restore the destination query to its original state.
