Persoo.ai acquisition
Luigi’s Box has joined forces with Persoo, and we operate as one company now. We enter the new year even stronger and more determined to bring you innovations and better services.
The acquisition of our Prague competitor, Persoo, was a logical step that will allow us to grow faster, not only by strengthening our market position but, above all, by improving our technological and personnel portfolio.

Product news
At the celebration of Luigi’s Box’s seventh birthday, we also presented product news for the near future.
Framework for experimentation and A/B tests
The first introduced innovation is a framework for A/B tests and experimentation, which will be available directly in the Luigi’s Box application. It will allow you to define, run, and evaluate an A/B test directly in the application interface without requiring programmer intervention on the page or communication with our team. The expected launch date of the framework is Q2/2024, but for now, it is only for selected clients.
Semantic Search
Semantic search is based on searching using meaning, not just specific words. It takes context and user intent into account. This means that instead of searching for a specific product, you can describe, for example, its desired features and functions. Similar to, e.g., ChatGPT, this feature is based on LLM (Large language model) technology. We are experimenting with the semantic search function and gradually testing it with selected clients as it suits specific products and situations.
Product Listing
Even though the Product Listing service (smart listing of products in categories) is no longer completely new, we are constantly working on its development and improvement. Product Listing allows you, for example:
- Automatically adjust the order of products in categories to increase sales
- Manually add selected products to specific positions
- Add banners to the product listing
- Edit facets/filter parameters for specific categories
Luigi’s Box seventh birthday
Luigi’s Box celebrated its seventh birthday this year. Our company was founded in 2016, but our founders started writing its story a little earlier. Gejza Nagy created UX design for leading e-shops and international companies. Tomáš Kramár and Michal Barla worked at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies of Slovak Technical University on personalization and search research.
The joining of forces resulted in a tool used today by more than 3,500 websites, including companies such as Acer, Škoda Auto, O2, Orsay or Bobcat.
We celebrated our seventh birthday at the premises of Spojka Karlín in Prague, where, in addition to the presentation of new products, we also saw a Muziker case study from the client’s point of view and a great panel discussion with representatives of the companies Dr. Max, ZOOT, NAY, Notino, HORNBACH, Košík.cz, and Muziker.
